Lindas Beef Stew

THIS IS MY FAVORITE ONE!!! When I was pregnant, she made me a huge pot of this, and Jason and I would go eat this all the time. It is soooo good. And it is more important to make cornbread along with it than you think! IT is amazing. (To my family, it would be like serving moms vegetable soup without peanut butter bread!?!? Cant do it!)

LINDA’S BEEF STEW

(actually a veg.-beef soup)

1 ½ - 2 lbs. stew meat 1 or 2 soup bones 3 qts. Water

2 Tbl. Salt 2 Tbl. Worcestershire or Soy Sauce ¼ tsp. pepper

Combine above and simmer on low for a couple of hours.

Take out bones and add:

1 med. Onion, chopped

1 cup each of fresh green beans, celery, carrots, potatoes, cabbage, turnip all cut bite size

1 large can diced tomatoes

2 tsp. parsley

Simmer until vegs. Tender Great with cornbread!
